The first sign that this is happening is that whenever you had a customer call, you decide to immediately implement something postponing the current release.

When users push back saying that they need all of that before they can start using your product, it could be that you’ve picked the wrong problem to solve or maybe just had bad luck and come across users who will never be satisfied. It could also be that your users don’t understand the value you bring. All of these could be why they keep asking for more.

If you’re confident about the problem you picked and think that you have a proper solution, ship it and learn. It could be as well that in the end you will ship all these features that your users ask for, but don’t wait with releasing because you could run out of time and money.
